The Journey
A Journey Into Bhutan’s Wildest High Country
Far beyond Bhutan’s valleys lies a remote world of high mountain passes, alpine meadows, glacial landscapes, and pristine Himalayan wilderness. The 28-day Snowman Trek is a legendary expedition along Bhutan’s northern frontier with Tibet, crossing eleven challenging passes, many rising close to 5,000 meters.
Along the way, towering peaks including Jomolhari, Jichu Drake, Masagang, Tiger Mountain, and Gangkhar Puensum rise above dramatic mountain valleys. The trail also leads through remote settlements, ancient monasteries, yak herder communities, and sacred landscapes where traditional ways of life endure.
More than a test of endurance, the Snowman Trek is an immersion into Bhutan’s wild beauty, mountain culture, and extraordinary wilderness. For experienced trekkers seeking a true Himalayan challenge, this unforgettable journey offers a rare opportunity to venture deep into one of the world’s most remote mountain environments.
