The Journey
A Living Heritage of Culture, Folklore & Nature
In the remote mountains of eastern Bhutan, ancient stories and living traditions remain woven into everyday life. The Bhutan Yeti Festival brings the unique heritage of the Brokpa people to life through vibrant dances, folk music, storytelling, traditional rituals, and celebrations inspired by the legendary Migoi.
Beyond the festival, this 13-day journey leads into the remarkable landscapes of Sakteng Valley. Visit traditional Brokpa villages, explore the pristine Sakteng Wildlife Sanctuary, and discover mountain landscapes where culture and nature remain deeply connected.
Meet local communities, experience their distinctive way of life, and uncover traditions rarely encountered by travelers. More than a festival, this is an invitation to discover a lesser-known Bhutan—one where ancient folklore, highland culture, and untouched nature continue to live side by side.
