Our Story
Our Story
Bhutan is more than a destination to us. It is a place where ancient traditions remain part of everyday life, where spirituality is woven into communities, and where the mountains, valleys, and people create experiences that stay with you long after you leave.
Bhutan Holiday Trips was created with a simple belief: discovering Bhutan should be about more than seeing its famous landmarks. It should be about experiencing its culture, meeting its people, walking through its landscapes, and discovering the stories and traditions that make our country unique.
As a licensed Bhutanese tour operator certified by the Department of Tourism, we are based in Thimphu and specialize in creating personalized journeys throughout Bhutan. Our experienced local team and knowledgeable Bhutanese guides carefully plan each trip around your interests, whether you are seeking cultural discoveries, Himalayan trekking adventures, vibrant festivals, bird-watching, photography, or meaningful homestay experiences with local families.
We believe the most memorable journeys often happen beyond the usual paths. That’s why we take time to introduce travelers to local communities, lesser-known places, living traditions, and authentic experiences while ensuring every journey is safe, comfortable, and thoughtfully planned.
Our commitment to responsible tourism is at the heart of what we do. We support local communities, work with local people and businesses, and encourage travel that respects Bhutan’s unique culture, traditions, and natural environment.
Behind every journey is our team of Bhutanese guides, professional drivers, and support staff who share their knowledge, stories, and genuine hospitality to make your time in Bhutan smooth, meaningful, and memorable.
We invite you to travel with us, look beyond the ordinary, and discover Bhutan not simply as a place to visit, but as a place to experience, connect with, and remember.
